Ok - this seems silly, but somehow I have managed to make the volume control buttons on the keyboard of my imac stop making the "beep" noise everytime i change the volume level, and, well - to be honest - I hate not having that beep!

Ive googled around and it seems like there is a solution to turn the beep off but I cant find a way to turn the beep back on?!?!

If i change the volume using my mouse the beep is there though?!?! :S

Any knowledge?

should be under System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects

Then tick the box saying Play sound when volume is changed
