Design Forums - Graphic Design & Web Design Forums

Hey everyone,

Late on Monday evening I spotted a tweet by a printing company, Jim AKA flyerboy_uk offering some credit card sized space on a print run for a stupidly low price. Naturally I snapped up the offer and put together some super quick artwork (15 mins!) for a Design Forums promotional card... here's how they look (arrived today) ....

I'm planning to take a load with me anytime I might be meeting other designers, any kind of events, talks, meetings, and will keep some on me at all times.

I'm hoping here's where you guys may be able to help Design Forums... is there anyone else who'd be willing to take some and hand out to other designers say if you're going to an event soon, etc.

I have 5000 (double sided) cards so please if you think you might have an opportunity to pass some out or somewhere to leave them for people to see - drop me a PM with your address and I'll get some in the post ASAP! It would be a huge help to the forums & seriously appreciated!!

I'll see if i can get about 1000 distributed with the NEPA News regional newsletter, - it may depend on the weight and grammage, and normally it costs to insert, but no harm asking. March issue printing is next week.

The weight of these cards is 300gsm I believe..

Certainly send a couple hundred in the first place up to me, and I'll arrange for them to be on the tables at the local 'Snack 'n Yak" in March.

Great stuff, let me know which address to send to Berry and I'll get a few hundred in the post tomorrow, & will wait to hear if there's any chance on the inserts

Have you thought of sending some through to design universitiies/colleges? might be a valuable resource for all walks of life, not just the pros

You could also send me a couple of hundred if you like, every last friday of the month I have a South Coast Design meeting (networking thing) so I could hand some out for you. I am also good friends with a college tutor who teaches graphic design, so I could ask him to give some to his students/colleagues

Yeah the artwork was a serious rush, trying to work the logo with the .co.uk in as obviously v. important for the flyers, glad you like it
