Write a Guest Post for my Blog?

Hi all,

Due to the usual circumstances (life etc.) I have to take a few weeks break from blogging. It's not the biggest deal in the world but it feels strange after posting consistently twice a week for over a year!

The fact is I'm moving to a new flat, I can't take too much time off work and I have to keep freelance clients happy! This means I'm not going to have too much time to blog!

I've got a few posts in hand to cover this week, but I suspect that there will be a 2 or 3 week lull, which is unavoidable but necessary.

SO....

I know a few of the members here run their own blogs, and I know there are others that like to write, but haven't got anywhere to publish their articles.

If you've got thoughts on design, inspiration, freelancing, blogging... basically most of the things we discuss on DF... I'd love to read them and consider posting them on my blog.

I'm not going to blow smoke either... I can't afford to pay you anything and chances are there aren't enough people that actually read my blog or you to get any exposure or work out of it.
Blogging is like that I'm afraid, a lot of effort for very little return, for me it's about the enjoyment of writing and sharing my thoughts and discussing them with others, this is the opportunity I extend to you.

Cancer suffer wristbands help with ideas

Right I was talking to my cuz today and she wants to design cancer wristbands in support of her mum who well....:cry:

That people buy and all the funds go to cancer research and support to sufferers and their families.

She has the backing of cancer research just needs to do all the work her self to get them made and sold. Cancer research told her she needs �600 for 3000, then any profit she gets from the wristbands will all, 100% go to cancer research.

So any ideas on where to sell them, advertise them, price, fund raising ideas etc... would be great. She wants to do it on her own as its for her mum and wont accept donations of anyone, people have been throwing money at her but its a her thing you know. :)

I'm helping her with the site and came up with the line:
Help support cancer sufferers

Which will be on the wristband.

So any pointers/ideas, any what so ever?

Can anyone recommend a sturdy USB memory stick. I first bought one similar to this one: which in fairness is still functioning, but the bit that lets you put it on your key ring broke a few months ago.

Then I bought this one which looks the part but the key ring bit broke and it stopped functioning after about 2 months.

I need a a stick that can handle being mobile on a daily basis, anyone have something like that?

Didn't know where to put this so here will do, it's the new Arcade fire interactive promo video starring your hometown (or wherever you want). Lots of HTML5 gismo's, I like it a lot. Chrome Experiments - Arcade Fire

Whilst I'm at it, it's oldie but in case you missed it the cold war kids interactive video is really good to, you get to remix the track as it plays by swapping the band members instruments and turning them off and on.

Hi guys,
Im looking to start blogging on more of a regular basis (at the moment I do it as and when I have time but im planning on writing a batch and setting them to auto-publish 4 or 5 times a week) Im looking to interview designers, web guys, creatives, photographers, basically any design related talent on DF for a new series so if anyone is interested please let me know. There will be a set of questions I can email out to you, and then the chance to show some of your work,plug your own site and list any relevant links.

I visited my younger brothers at the weekend (who live by the coast), we went in to an arcade and won some nik naks. Nothing special in itself granted, but then I come on DF and what do I see in the portfolio preview?
